Pamela Caughey grew up in Wisconsin, received her BS in Biochemistry from UW-Madison in 1983, studied art in London in 1984 and moved to Hamilton, MT in 1986. Since then, her work has received awards, been published, and shown nationally in venues including the Salmagundi Club in NYC, Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO, Tacoma Art Museum in WA and throughout Montana. Caughey’s work is in the Permanent Collection of the Montana Museum of Art and Culture, Holter Museum of Art, and Missoula Art Museum. She received her MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Montana in 2010. She is now on the faculty of the Bitterroot College of the University of Montana in Hamilton, MT where she teaches Drawing, 2D Color and Design and Sculpture.
